Artificial turf in Phoenix

About half the water a Phoenix household uses goes outside, and in the summer quarter that climbs to roughly two thirds. The lawn is the biggest part of it.

4.8 on Google5.0 on Yelp

We turf Phoenix yards on both sides of the city, from the small lots in Encanto to the wide back yards in Desert Ridge. The water line on the bill goes away and the yard stops browning in August.

Phoenix bills water on a seasonal tier, so summer gallons cost more by design. That is why the bill that makes people call us tends to land in July. We book the install for the cooler months, when the crews can work a full day.

The city is big enough to have four or five different yard problems. Arcadia has mature citrus and flood irrigation, Ahwatukee has slopes and gravel, and Laveen has new builds on bare dirt. We quote each one on what it needs, not off a square foot table.

Phoenix is the one city that plainly says yes

Phoenix pays $2 a square foot to take out live grass, with a 250 square foot minimum. Its own guidance says you can replace grass with some artificial turf. Two rules decide the money: the grass has to be alive and healthy first, and you need written approval before a single blade comes out.
